At the beginning of the new year, as one of the world’s largest innovation and technology exhibitions, CES (International Consumer Electronics Show) was officially launched in Las Vegas. As an annual event, CES is not only a window to showcase the most advanced technology to enthusiasts, but also sets a keynote tone for the science and technology of the year, so all major manufacturers would show their unique technique at CES, Lenovo is no exception.
As a representative of China’s technology industry and CES frequenter, Lenovo held the first new product launch event this year after the opening of CES 2018. Lenovo not only released the first laptop Miix 630 equipped with a Snapdragon CPU, while ThinkPad X1 Carbon and Mirage Solo and other new products are also attracting much attention.
Miix 630, anytime, anywhere to use
The Miix 630 is Lenovo’s first ultra-powerful office equipment with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, providing users a great experience with their network anywhere, anytime. Relative to the Intel processor, Snapdragon 835 processor integrated network module in the processor, which is a substantial increase in the efficiency of network transmission. At the same time, the function of supporting LTE network connection makes the computer no longer limited by the Wi-Fi distance, users no longer need to worry about disconnection of the network during the using of the product. Not only that, the Miix 630 also specially equipped with low-power standby mode, the maximum battery life increased to 20 hours, bringing users truly long time enjoyment.
Mirage, close enough to feel AR and VR
Lenovo launched the world premiere of its Mirage Solo and Mirage Camera at this CES, and both products are integrated with the Daydream platform. Mirage Solo is the long-awaited world’s first standalone Daydream VR headset that brings users a new generation of virtual reality technology. This versatile head-mounted device is easy to use, allowing users to get out of the shackles of cables, computers and smartphones while incorporating the dynamic tracking technology of Daydream’s virtual reality platform to deliver immersive experiences to users.
The Mirage Camera is a camera that creates virtual reality content easily. It comes with a 13-megapixel fisheye dual camera for 4K-quality 2D images, stereo images and 3D panoramic video. In addition, Mirage Daydream camera allows users to further enhance the virtual reality experience with pictures, videos and live three production modes to choose, and users could enjoy it through the Mirage Solo.
Lenovo also brought us more surprises. Lenovo launched Augmented Human Cloud 2.0 and modular smart New Glass C220. It aims to upgrade the traditional industries by AH concept and provide one-stop smart solutions. The AR New Glass C220, which can be used in industries such as remote industrial maintenance, intelligent command and cognitive education to meet the needs of different types of users.
Taken together, Lenovo cuts a figure at CES 2018. The high-quality experience and seamless consumption redefined the user’s expectations of virtual reality, but also demonstrated the perseverance in designing better products.
