How to Connect iPhone 7(plus) to Windows 10— Install iTunes
First and most important step is installing an iTunes. iTunes is used to play, download, and organize digital downloads of music and video, as well as other types of media available on the iTunes Store, on personal computers running the macOS and Microsoft Windows operating systems. iTunes is installed on new Macs, but if you PC’s operating system is Windows, you have to download a copy from Apple.
1. Open Web browser on your computer.
2. Visit www.apple.com/itunes
3. Click Download iTunes. There will be a window whether you want to opt in or opt out of the newsletter.
4. Click Download Now.
5. Open your Download folder and launch the iTunes6464Setup.exe installer.
6. Operate following the installation instructions and open iTunes.
7. Click Agree to the license window. Agree in the Welcome window.
Now, you can manage your files, and back up your iPhone 7(plus) on your Windows 10 PC.
When you launch iTunes first time, it will scan for media on your computer. It will collect all the music and videos it can find in your system and all of them can be transferred to your iPhone 7(plus).

Wired vs. Wireless Sync
Your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch can be synced to Windows 10 by plugging in the Lightning USB cable. Additionally, you can also set up Wi-Fi sync, so data will be sync whenever you’re connected to the same network.
Wired sync is faster and you can watch it happen but Wi-Fi sync is much more convenient and you don’t even have to remember to start it.
Sync over Lightning USB Cable
1. Open iTunes on your computer.
2. Plug your iPhone 7(plus) into your Windows 10 PC using a Lightning USB cable.
3. Click Device Tab at the top of iTunes to make sure you’re viewing your iPhone 7(plus).
4. Click each tab on the left pane for Music, Movies, TV Shows, and Photos.
5. Click to enable or disable sync of media types, and choose what you want to sync. This can be as specific as latest shows, certain artists, or file folders. Criteria vary by media type.
6. Click the Sync button at the bottom when you’re finished.
Enable Wi-Fi syncing in iTunes for Windows 10
1. Open iTunes on your computer.
2. Plug your iPhone 7(plus) into your Windows 10 PC using a Lightning USB cable.
3. Click the device button near the top if the window doesn’t pop up immediately.
4. On the Summary page under Options, tick the box for “Sync this iPhone over Wi-Fi”.
5. Tick “Automatically sync this iPhone when connected” if needed, then you do not need to rely on the wire. Click Apply at the bottom when finished.
6. Click each tab on the left pane for Music, Movies, TV Shows, and Photos.
7. Click to enable or disable sync of media types, and choose what you want to sync. This can be as specific as latest shows, certain artists, or file folders. Criteria vary by media type.
8. Click the Sync button at the bottom when you’re finished. Now there is no need to plug in USB cable for syncing again.
