What is a solar power?
We get the solar power from the Sun. The nature provides human beings some powerful energies, some of them are nonrenewable and others are renewable. Fortunately, solar power is the former. And we recognized that how to find it, store it and then we get it converted electric current.
Actually, it gets through a complete circuit to finish the energy conversion. Considered as ‘Renewable Energy’, the solar power contains renewable resource, the sun light, which means once human beings acquire the skills about how to use the solar power that means it will work for us in following year constantly. 
In the conversion from sun light to electricity, there is no worry to consider it will cause some pollution. Recently, air pollutants, noise pollution and water pollution throw critical threats to the earth and humans are facing survive issues. At this moment, solar power, as renewable energies, reliefs the immediate sense of crisis of humans.
Purchasing electricity directly is costly and area limited. In remote areas, solar power can be used instead of electricity power that saves more extra investment for rural infrastructure construction.
Smartphone-addicts try to plug their devices in everywhere they can see, so that’s why power banks come into people’s daily life. But, what should do when the portable power bank is out of power without a portable charger? Hence it, people invented portable solar charger which contains a square of solar panel and an output port. Use the lightweight and folded solar panel as sun light receiver, the solar panel can feed juice to different electronic devices for portability. As mentioned previous, solar energy is converted from sun light energy, whenever the Sun disappears, the solar power vanishes too. Therefore, it can only be harnessed when it is daytime and sunny. It’s a fatal limitation to solar power, although it is a renewable energy, humans can’t have the conversion all the time.
There are two kind of solar power collectors, solar panels and solar cells. Although the solar power is free to us, sun light collectors are relatively expensive to manufacture although prices are falling rapidly. It’s easy to find that a 2 fold/ 4 fold solar panel charger is much expensive than a normal power bank. It’s really worthwhile.
In countries such as the UK, the unreliable climate means that solar energy is also unreliable as a source of energy. Cloudy skies reduce its effectiveness. Large areas of land are required to capture the suns energy. Collectors are usually arranged together especially when electricity is to be produced and used in the same location.
Solar power is used to charge batteries so that solar powered devices can be used at night. However, the batteries are large and heavy and need storage space. So new solar panels come out to daily life and manufactures aim to minimize the product size and weight for portability.
There is a prediction that by 2050, solar photovoltaics and concentrated solar power would contribute about 16 and 11 percent, respectively, of the worldwide electricity consumption, and solar would be the world’s largest source of electricity. There are two main drawbacks limiting the usefulness of solar power 1. the need for expensive storage capacity and 2. the initial cost involved. However it appears for small scale applications the costs may have come down to reasonable level.

Solar power is great if you can afford it. It takes a large array to generate enough power to use and store for use when the sun is not shining. The alternative of using a connected to grid system has tow distinct disadvantages here 1. the electric company buys the excess power at a fraction of the cost it charges for the power it supplies and 2) if the grid goes down you have no power just like everyone else.
