Does Galaxy S22 Ultra have S Pen

Last year, Samsung added S Pen support on both Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 3, and this time around, you can still take advantage of this feature on Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The S Pen functionality has changed a lot ever since its first debut on the Galaxy Note in 2012. It used to support just 256 levels of pressure and didn’t support Bluetooth. Now, not only does the new S Pen on S22 Ultra support 4096 levels of pressure, Bluetooth connectivity and much lower latency (70% lower than that on Note 20), but it is built into the smartphone and can directly get fully charged within one minute once you insert it into the silo.

You can use the S Pen instead of your finger to click objects on the screen, and do more precise work like drawing doodling and handwriting. With Bluetooth connection, you can launch an app simply by pressing a button on the S Pen, use it as a shutter for your camera, or use air gestures to access certain features.

Besides the built-in S Pen, you can also use S Pen Pro on Galaxy S22 Ultra, the one that works with most of Samsung’s devices including tablets and computers. Different from the regular S Pen, it is bigger and more comfortable to use, supports multiple pairing at the same time, and allows copying text and images across devices, etc. However, it can’t be stored in the phone. With a cable and a power source, you can’t recharge the stylus.
