There’re plenty of things to like about the Google Pixel 7/7Pro like a new updated design, improved chipset, and more. But does it feature a micro SD card slot as well? As we know, many smartphones nowadays don’t support micro SD, except some mid-range devices that allow users to add external storage.
However, the fact is that neither the Pixel 7 or the Pixel 7 Pro support micro SD, and neither feature a hybrid slot that can add a second SIM card or a micro SD card. This is not surprising because none of Google phones have ever added a micro SD card slot.
Pixel 7/7 Pro comes with 128GB base storage, which is enough for average people. For a 256GB storage you can pay an extra $100. Google also offers 512GB option, but unfortunately it is not available in most regions outside the United States. In addition, the multiple cloud-storage services can mitigate the need for additional storage to some extent.

Speaking of SIM, the phone has a physical SIM slot and support eSIM as well. Moreover, it has dual SIM functionality so that you can connect to two different carriers at the same time. The dual eSIM support was expected to arrive later as a part of a Feature drop, but it appears to be working on the current firmware.
Can you enable two eSIMs at the same time? Some early users have proved that, but you’ll have to disable the physical SIM to be able to activate the second eSIM. However, Google hasn’t confirmed this yet, only mentioning a physical SIM plus eSIM support for now.
Are you going to buy the Pixel 7 or 7 Pro? If yes, then which storage option will you choose? What’s the best part you like about the new phone? Let us know in the comment area.
