Galaxy A52 5G is claimed officially to have a 4500mAh battery which is able to last two days. That is a pretty good performance, considering the 5G connectivity and the 120Hz display. During our testing, however, the score can be a bit lower: with a normal use such as texting, web surfing and the like, the Galaxy A52 5G lasts around 18 hours. While for 5-hour gaming use, the battery life can be around 2 hours shorter. Switching the refresh rate from 120Hz to 90Hz can make a difference, but that won’t be very big.
Does Galaxy A52 5G support fast charging?
Galaxy A52 5G support 25W fast wired charging, though it only comes with a 15W charger, an accessory you no longer get with its flagship phones. With the bundled charger, the battery will rise from empty to 34% in 30 minutes, and to full in 1.5 hours. This is a middle performance when compared with its rivals. If you want to acheive higher charging speed, you can buy a separate charging brick.
The vanilla Galaxy A52 5G may behave better, as it packs a lower 90Hz refresh rate display, a less powerful SoC, and no 5G connectivity.
