According to the TUV Rheinland certification, the OnePlus AC2003 model will feature a 5V 6A charging speed, which actually translates to 30W fast charging. It is easy to infer that OnePlus Nord or OnePlus Z will have 30W fast charging technology, as it is the only smartphone OnePlus is going to launch in the near future. That is the same with OnePlus 8 series: you could indeed top up the phone in roughly an hour, and the charging time may be even shorter due to the relatively less superior configurations.
If you ask if it will feature 30W wireless charging speed, the answer could be somewhat upsetting. The flagship OnePlus 8 series doesn’t have wireless charging except for OnePlus 8 Pro, so the higher chance is that OnePlus Nord/Z will not have one either.
OnePlus Nord will be the most expected mid-range phone since the release of OnePlus X in the year 2015. As per previous reports, OnePlus Nord features a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED display, a 90Hz refresh rate panel, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the back are four rear cameras including the 64-megapixel main sensor, the auxiliary ultrawide, depth, and macro cameras. As for the hardware, the OnePlus Nord will probably be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 128GB storage. The battery will be 40,00mAh and the charging port will be USB-C. So with the addition of 30W fast charging, the new smartphone’s overall charging ability will be rather impressive.
According to GSMArena, the new OnePlus smartphone will be available in different countries with the same model number. And the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) further reveals that the OnePlus Nord will at first land in India. A rumor suggests that the India price for the new phone could be about $330, but there are still no words about the exact launch date. We speculate that next month is possibly the time because there are various certifications and listings coming out recently.
