How much will be Huawei P30 and P30 Pro

2019 February is supposed to be an exciting month for all Android fans, both Samsung and Huawei will release the new flagships, Samsung Galaxy S10 and Huawei P30. Samsung Galaxy S10 had been confirmed to be launched on Feb 20, and Huawei P30 was rumored to be annouced at MWC 2019, on Feb 24. 

Considering Huawei P20, P20 Pro played an important role among the fast-growing contingent of smart phones in front 2018, in addition to the outstanding performance of the so called best-camera smart phone – Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro in late 2018, Huawei P30 and its variants will definitely be one of the anticipated Android leads of this current year.

What’s the new specs we should pay attention to?

As the 2019 successor of Huawei P20, the most anticipated part would be the camera module. According to the current leaks from @Onleaks, Huawei P30 apparently Huawei P30 sports a triple rear camera and a single front camera setup, a waterdrop-molded notch, and a finished inclination backboard. Huawei P30 Lite – the cheaper and smaller variant, was rumored to feature a double rear camera and a single front camera, and Huawei P30 Pro will have quadruple back camera and a single front camera respectively. If the leaks are true, Huawei P30 Pro will most likely be the first quad-lens smart phone. 

What we can expect more? Personally I would vote for the wireless charging capability, since Huawei P20 lacks the wireless charging, and the leaked images suggested Huawei P30 would have a gradient color scheme on the back, which appears to be made of glass. So the wireless charging is something Huawei P30 or at least Huawei P30 Pro will most likely offer. And the in-screen fingerprint scanner is another new spec Huawei P30 will highlight, since Huawei Mate 20 Pro has already featured this technology, it won’t be surprising if Huawei P30 had it as well. 

Another change is the headphone jack, it seems like Huawei decided to bring the headphone jack back on P30, the phone case makers like Easyacc had already prepared the samples for Huawei P30, and the headphone jack hole is something different from its predecessor. 

How much will be Huawei P30 and its variants?

Huawei flagships didn’t land in US, and Huawei P30 doesn’t plan to do it in this year either.  Huawei P20 was released with the price at £599 (649 euro), while the Huawei P20 Pro is considerably higher at £799 (899 euro) , if Huawei keeps this price for P30 and P30 Pro, Huawei P30 Lite will have a cheaper choice lower than £500 (539 euro), but it also depends on the industry trends, the price might be higher since Apple and Samsung had taken the lead for inflating the phone price each year.

How much will the price of Huawei P20 and P20 Pro drop after P30 release?

The current price of Huawei P20 and P20 Pro on Amazon is $499 and $647, after the launch of Huawei P30, the Huawei P20 might now be a few models old but it is still one of the firm’s most complete smartphones to date, so the price drop might not be that dramatic, possibly around $50, and it will not be cut immediately, probably after several months from the launch date of Huawei P30.
