Like the Wireless Charging Base, the Wireless Charge Stream Pad+ supports the Qi standard but also provides the fastest charging speed for Apple and Samsung products. After charging the device, the charger will determine the charging target and offer a full 10W of wireless charging. If it is an iPhone 8, 8 Plus or iPhone X, the output power can reach 7.5W. If it’s Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9 plus, it would have a faster charging and automatically rise to 10W.

In addition, it’s more convenient that the charging cable of the Charge Stream Pad+ is USB Type-A and micro-USB respectively unlike the Belkin charger especially for iPhone. It would be more realizable to replace the cable in case of damage. Is it a user-friendly upgrade? Of course. But there are points of disagreement that Mophie should support higher specification to begin with. It’s also frustrating to see that Mophie is still not using USB-C in the present.
As for the selling price, the Charge Stream Pad+ can be purchased from the Mophie official website for $59.95. As expected that it will be more expensive than normal wireless chargers in the present market. However, for customers who both have iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+, the convenience of exchange should still be a certain attraction.
