3. Charger

A incompatible charger or  USB adapter will also be a reason for why iPhone 7/7 Plus not charging. Although it’s rare that the embarrassment happen on the brand-new iPhone 7/7 Plus, but it really caused  charging problem in previous iPhone, so  just change another new accessories to have a try.  Notice that it’s not a good choice for a low-quality 3rd-party iPhone charger if your original charger is broken. 4. Charging cable

Original charging cable is what I want to recommend. Charging cable may has some damages, like breakage or bent prongs, here is a suggestion, please try to check the charging cable if you find the new iPhone 7/7 Plus says not charging.

5. Disconnected 

Sometimes, if you don’t see the iPhone 7/7 Plus ‘s charging screen appearance in half an hour after you plugged it in, check if the accessories are defective or firmly connected. It’s the easiest problem I can think that why iPhone 7 says not charging.

How to fix it?

1.Update software by yourself or change the hardware issue by seeking the help from Apple store. Tips: Check software update and make sure you have installed the latest version of iOS. Go to Settings > General > Software Update > Download and Install.

2. Clean the iPhone 7/7 Plus’s charging port with thin stick softy to make sure the charging cable and the port get an firm intercalation.

3. Get original charger/charging cable from Apple to avoid some charging problems.
