Is it worth buying iphone 7 now

Is it worth buying iphone 7 now

With the arrival of the seventh generation of iPhone, some people may wonder whether it is (iphone 7 and 7 plus ) worth buying . As far as I’m concerned, I will not buy it at all, I have following four reasons.

1. No headphone jack.

is iphone 7 worth buying

The biggest change of iPhone 7 is removing the 3.5mm headphone jack from its new iPhone 7 range. This means users won’t be able to use their existing 3.5mm headphones which they get accustomed to over the last decade with the new handsets unless they use the Lightning to 3.5mm adapter.

The problem is that users will not be able to charge their phones while listening to music or making calls with wired headphones that have a Lightning connector. You could get a dongle that lets you use wired headphones while charging, but that’s another $40 dollars which you’d have to pay.

And if you want Apple’s wireless Air Pod ear buds, a pair will cost you a hefty $159 extra. While Bluetooth technology can help in dodging problems associated with a jack-less iPhone 7, sound quality is often sacrificed. This is a big deal for many people, and it is a viable reason for why they won’t be upgrading to Apple’s latest flagship device.
The Air Pod ear buds will also be very easy to lose, since they’re wireless. Many people have griped a lot on social media such as “Is this a trick of Apple Inc. to earn more money?”

2. Lack of design change
It is disappointed that the latest iPhone 7 is lack of design change. Both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus sport the same design as their predecessors — iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. In fact, it is also the same design as that of the two-year old iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models. The iPhone 7’s height, width, and depth are exactly the same as the iPhone 6s (5.44 by 2.64 by 0.28 inches).
Many people worry about the phone will not look like much of an upgrade when they hold it. They also admit that when they change the latest smart phone, they do take pride in receiving something that looks like a distinctly unique product.

3.No major upgrades.
Why doesn’t iPhone 7 worth buying
iPhone 7 seems like more of an incremental upgrade as opposed to being a big step forward for Apple which makes it not worth the price. Tweaks to the hardware and big software upgrades tend to come in the “s” models. There is a rumor that next year iPhone 8 will be created ,because next year is the Apple Inc. ’s then years anniversary ,and iPhone 8 will surprisingly promoted. Thus a number of people will not buy iPhone 7 and waiting for iPhone 8.

4.Too expensive.

There is no doubt that the seventh generation of iPhone is pricey, the price of iPhone 7 is beyond $649, the price of iPhone 7 plus is beyond $769. The most expensive one of the seventh generation of iPhone is 256G of iPhone 7 plus which costs $969. Since iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus are too expensive , maybe it’s a good time for you to buy iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 plus which is a more appealing choice for people on a budget.

The company’s preorder day on Friday went off without a hitch and its early supply of all iPhone 7 models quickly sold out. But if you ask me whether I will buy it or not, I will certainly say no. How about you ?

一个有关“Is it worth buying iphone 7 now”的想法

  1. I’ve been an android user all my life. (Although I’m only a first year uni student so that’s not a very long time). I’ve recently decided that I really wanted to try having an iPhone, mostly because of iOS obviously.

However, iPhones, even on a 2 year plan (at least here in Canada), are ridiculously expensive. So I was waiting for the iPhone 7 to be announced, to see if any of the older models drop in price to a reasonable price.

My question is, how often do older models drop in price? I really don’t want the smaller iPhone because 4.7″ is too small for me after a nexus 6P, so I want to get the iPhone 6 Plus (Not 6S Plus). I realize that it’s 2 generations old now, so I was wandering if people who still have one think it’s worth it? Particularly, I am looking at these phones:
