Does Galaxy Tab S8/S8+/S8 Ultra come with a keyboard and Galaxy Buds

The Galaxy Tab S8 series are remarkable upgrades compared with 2020’s Tab S7 and S7+, delivering powerful performance and expansive displays in a super-slim design. With S Pen, they’re especially credible for gaming, streaming movies, and drawing/doodling. Besides that, they can also turn into a great laptop replacement once docked into Samsung’s Book Cover Keyboard, especially for the premium S8 Ultra which is called the ‘thinnest, biggest, toughest Samsung Galaxy Tab S yet’. 

So, does Galaxy Tab S8/S8+/S8 Ultra come with a keyboard?

Despite much marketing of using the Galaxy Tab S8 series with a keyboard, Samsung doesn’t offer a free keyboard accessory in the box. The full name for the advertised keyboard is actually Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra Book Cover Keyboard, selling at a $349 price tag. It is essentially two accessories in one. The first part is a protective cover that can also work as a kickstand for the back and the S Pen as well. The second part is a keyboard with large backlit keys and a built-in trackpad at the bottom. Once attaching the keyboard, DeX mode is automatically enabled and you can use your tablet for web browsing, using apps in multiple windows etc.

Despite no bundled keyboard in the box, you can get the Book Cover Keyboard for free if you preorder the S8 Ultra any time before February 25. But after that time, you have to pay an extra $349 besides $1099 for the tablet. Does Galaxy Tab S8/S8+/S8 Ultra come with Galaxy Buds?

Aside from keyboard, would Samsung include a free pair of Galaxy Buds or wired earphones along with the Galaxy Tab S8 series? The answer is no, neither will be included in the box, and all you have are a USB-C cable, an ejector tool for the micro SD, and the S Pen. Nevertheless, if you preorder the tablet, you can use Samsung Credit to save a few bucks for the earbuds.
