It is not good when you are out all day, need to use GPS with all the other apps and do not have the power by hand to charge the smartphone or other smart devices. Would you recommend to get a battery case or an external battery? Which one is better? And which model would you recommend? Here i collect some Pros and Cons for “Battery Case and External Battery”.

 

Some Pros (+) and Cons (-)…….

Battery Case:
+ No wires necessary to recharge
+ smaller size to carry around
+ less expensive
– can only be used for your phone
– requires rebooting your phone

+ can power multiple devices
+ more power than a standard size battery
+ no rebooting necessary
– requires a wire to charge the device
– larger size for carrying
– more expensive

  38. I have and use a Power Bank regularly, I find its convenient to fit into my smallest handbag and isn’t heavy or bulky. I would recommend to all.

    That being said, I have never used a Battery case so cant comment on that really! 🙂

  42. I would recommend to get an external battery because it is meant to charge more than one phone. If you go out with other people frequently, as I sometimes do, it certainly would be more practical to have an external battery that is capable of charging all of our phones, instead of a battery case, which can only charge my own. I don’t feel one is better than the other. They just serve different purposes and you have to decide which one is better for your needs.

  44. Battery Case inreases size of the phone so I prefere External Battery because I use it only when I need and I can charge more than one device.

    Battery Cases
    – hardly lager capacity available
    – makes slick and slim phone look dull and thick
    – specific cases designed and available for only specific phones (like cases for iPhone can’t be used for Samsung)
    – makes phones heavy and unattractive
    – can power only phone at a time
    + might not take longer time to charge itself

    External Battery pack
    + doesn’t affect looks of phones or any devices
    + useful for multiple devices like phone, tabs, pads (no specific phones designed as in Battery Cases)
    + can be environmental friendly like solar chargers pack
    – takes longer time to charge itself
    + some of them features fast charging

    So I prefer external battery!
