OnePlus has launched its latest Nord series mobile phone, OnePlus Nord 30, which will be available for pre-sale in most European countries on July 5 and will be officially launched in all markets on July 12.
The 8GB/128GB version costs 449 euros, while the 16GB/256GB version costs 499 euros, but this is only a limited-time offer until the end of July. After the end of this month, the price of OnePlus Nord 30 16GB/256GB will rise to 549 euros.
OnePlus Nord 30 comes with a 6.7-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,450 nits. The OnePlus Nord 3 main camera uses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor, which is the same sensor used in the OnePlus flagship phone 11.
OnePlus Nord 30 is equipped with the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip, runs Android 13 system, supports 80W fast charging, and is equipped with a 5000mAh battery.
In addition, OnePlus Nord 30 also offers two options of 8GB memory and 128GB storage space or 16GB memory and 256GB storage space, which is one step ahead in the mid-range smartphone market, such as Samsung Galaxy A54, the base model only has 6GB memory and 128GB storage.
Design
Nord 30 has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a smooth refresh rate of 120Hz, making it a good choice for gaming enthusiasts. Slim display bezels and smooth, rounded edges give it the look of a high-end flagship.
One of the signature features of OnePlus phones is the OnePlus Alert Slider, which is also available on the Nord 30. The slider located on the side of the device allows for easy control of volume and notifications, similar to the silent/ring switch on the iPhone.
Camera specs
Next up is the camera specs, and the rumored specs have been confirmed. The Nord 30 is equipped with three rear cameras: the main camera is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor, which is the same sensor used in the flagship OnePlus 11 phone, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel front camera. The phone also supports ultra-smooth optical image stabilization (OIS), useful for taking photos on the move or in low-light situations, and can shoot 4k video at 60fps.
Performance and Software
OnePlus Nord 30 runs on Android 13 with OxygenOS 13.1. It also includes NFC capabilities for easy mobile payments, and an IR remote for use with Android or Google TV.
