The Three Most Worth Buying Samsung Mobile Phones

Samsung, like Apple, is one of the most famous mobile phone brands in the world. Known for creating feature-rich phones with great camera technology, sophisticated designs, and tons of innovation.
The company also spends a lot of time and effort improving the photography and video shooting capabilities of its phones, so read on as I take you through the best Samsung phones.

  1. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra: The best Samsung phone overall
Although it looks identical to the S22 Ultra, the Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with several improvements that make it the best Samsung phone of 2023. In short, the phone has a sturdier build, more RAM, a more efficient battery, a custom-tuned chipset, and a new 200MP main camera that leaves its competitors in the dust.

The S23 Ultra offers only minor improvements to its predecessor’s already excellent design. There’s a similar pill-shaped profile from top to bottom, with curved front and rear glass flowing into a metal frame. One of the changes is a reduced radius on the curved edges of the display, providing a larger flat surface area.

In addition to the reduced edge curvature of the display, the S23 Ultra’s display offers a familiar viewing experience from its predecessor. Like last year’s Ultra, you get a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a 1440 x 3088 resolution and a dynamic refresh rate adjustable from 1Hz to 120Hz.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s camera options are very flexible. It has a wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle, and two telephoto cameras that give you 3x and 10x optical zoom respectively. Combined with the absolutely massive 200MP sensor on the main camera, the S23 is easily the best camera phone money can buy.

Previously, Samsung Galaxy S phones were powered by Samsung’s own Exynos or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips, but the S23 series is globally available with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. This eliminates the performance gap that previously made Exynos phone owners feel left behind. And it’s fast. very fast.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra retains the same 5,000mAh battery as its predecessor, and the latter supports 45W wired charging, wireless and reverse wireless charging. In testing, the phone had about eight hours of screen-on time per charge.

Of course, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s excellent hardware comes at a price, and it’s relatively expensive.

  1. Samsung Galaxy A54: The best value Samsung phone
Essentially a “lite” version of the Galaxy S23, the A54 ranks lower on this list and offers many of the “S Series” features at a lower price. By some means, it’s not the absolute cheapest phone Samsung has made, but it’s certainly a mid-range phone and definitely worth considering if you’re on a budget.

The dimensions of this phone are 158.2×76.7×8.2mm and the weight is 202g, so we call it a medium-sized phone. It adopts the floating camera design of the S23 series. Other colors are equally beautiful.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 has one of the best-looking screens on a phone in its price range. Featuring a vibrant, colorful 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits of maximum brightness, it offers some nice upgrades over its predecessor.

Its main camera is an optically stabilized 50MP f/1.8 sensor, plus a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and, after ditching its predecessor’s depth sensor, a 5MP f/2.4 macro camera sensor. The photos taken are bright and colorful. Dynamic range is good for a phone in this price range, and photos are sharp as long as you take them with the main camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 may surpass its similarly priced rivals in the camera and display department, but it falls behind in performance. The chip here is an Exynos 1380, and while it’s powerful, it can’t compete with similarly priced competitors.

The Samsung Galaxy A54’s 5,000mAh battery is large, but we see a lot of mid-range phones with this kind of power. The bright screen and 5G network require a lot of power, and this phone can easily last a full day on two charges.

  1. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5: The best foldable Samsung phone
With the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Samsung didn’t try to refresh it or fundamentally change the foldable phone’s display or design, other than the ability to finally fold. Instead, it brings some small but welcome enhancements over the Z Fold 4, plus a new processor, but there’s still room for further improvements.

While the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 isn’t fundamentally different from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, its flat-fold design ultimately solves the series’ biggest design misstep. Superior build quality and IP-certified waterproofing make it a trendsetter.

The main screen of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 2176 x 1812 and supports an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz. The lower end of the range saves battery life by not refreshing the screen when not needed, while the higher end means smoother gaming and video action. Meanwhile, the cover screen is a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2316 x 904. It also has an adaptive refresh rate, but the narrow aspect ratio isn’t the best.

The bottom camera of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a similar sensor to the previous two generations of Fold, and is identical. There’s also a selfie camera on the cover screen and a lower-end selfie camera below the main screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is equipped with Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset because it needs the most powerful performance possible to perform multitasking operations.

Its battery lasts about 15 hours, which is pretty good, but I wish it was longer. Still, being able to do this is a testament to the chipset’s power management capabilities.

It’s one of the most expensive phones, especially if you want more than the base 256GB of storage. But if you want the best foldable phone in the world, this is the current price you have to pay.
