Does Huawei P30 support eSIM technology?

As expected,Huawei will release Huawei P40 on March ,2020. Did you remember the Huawei P30 as a predecessor released one year ago.In fact, Huawei P30 is an so impressive phone for photography and more that it continues to be one of our favorite Android phones on the market. Now, here is the question, does Huawei P30 support eSIM technology?

Th answer is no. No matter Huawei P20 or P30, they do not support eSIM technology.On the contrast, iphone 11 /11 pro/11 pro max/XS/XS all have eSIM technology and dual SIM. Huawei Android smartphones obvioulsly do not have eSIM which means lost many potential markets abroad.As the iPhone XS published the eSIM technology,the new iPhones became the first widely marketed eSIM-compatible smartphones ever launched. Thus, generating a wind of change onto the mobile and SIM industries.So, i just don’t understand why Huawei don’t support eSIM technology so far. Apple has brought esIM into the masses and democratized mobile access among OEMS and ODMS.In the meanwhile, iPhone XS series contribute to the digitalization of mobile operator’s user journey. We hope Huawei will follow after iphone to extend the eSIM on the phone.

There is a limited choice for the free travellers internationally or other people who are on business abroad.While Huawei is known for business phone.I have no idear whether Huawei P40 will support the eSIM technology.Even though we know Huwei P30 have dual SIM, it is no doubt that eSIM makes it easier for you to change carrier or to have multiple carriers on the same phone.eSIm is more than half as small as the next smallest option, a Nano-SIM,which keep down the size of the components of our mobile phones. Another advantage of eSIM is that it can make the phone more water resistant. This is because the phone’s body becomes more closed as it does not need a SIM card slot. And everything that makes our mobiles more durable is positive for us users.

All in all, eSIM shows great potential when it comes to streamlining devices and machines and its size is advantageous for manufacturers that produce small devices. With eSIM, we will get affordable networking solutions for IoT, both for consumers and companies.We are looking forward to Huawei handsets will publish the eSIM technology in 2020.
