If this is you case that you can’t use some functions such as display massages and get notifications in your Apple Watch, you should check whether your watch is connected to your phone.
Generally speaking, there are two ways to check the connection. For one thing, you can see appearing on the watch face to show that the two devices are failed to connect with each other and shows they are connected well. For another, you can also tap on your watch face. If connected, your iPhone should make a “ping” sound.
How they work together
Before you figuring out the reason why your Apple Watch disconnects to your phone, the first thing you should come to is how the two devices cooperate with each other. Obviously, Apple Watch connecting to and communicating with your iPhone uses two methods: Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
If your iPhone and Apple Watch are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, they can be as far apart from each other as the Wi-Fi signal will allow.
If they are connected to each other by Bluetooth, the two devices are needed to be within 30 feet of each other or they will disconnect.
Based on the way they connect with each other, you may easily find that if you put your Apple Watch excel the connecting range with your iPhone, it will cause disconnecting. But if this is not your case, you can try the following way to repair them.
