With the shape designed similar to American football, 21 cm in length, 6.7 cm in width and 150 grams in weight, how portable and trip-friendly it is!
As the speaker’s shell is entirely made of plastic, with the grid in a mirror device form that shrinks at the center and ends and at the same time it’s surrounded by a colored line, the Olive speaker presents a modern presence, well compensating with the look “cheap” given by the plastic.
While looking around the Olive, you could find that the panel is surrounded by a furrow, within which there’re the operational LEDs, blinking blue when the speaker is on and red when charging.
Talking about its working time, the speaker will be refilled in 2.3 hours and runs out in 3 hours at a medium-high volume. Of course, while holding a lower volume or use the speaker via AUX/USB/microSD, you could have a music enjoyment much longer.
Allocated with Bluetooth 4.0 and EDR Class 2, while pairing with devices, it’s almost instantaneous, with a range of about 9 meters outdoor, but decending at about 7-8 meters indoors with obstructions in the middle. Meanwhile, the audio supports A2DP and AVRCP stereo funcitons, as regards media and protocols HFP and HFS for the phone.
There is also the function of FM radio, with a frequency range of 87-108 MHz. The first time you go to use this function, you need to tune in your area of residence, which is performed by selecting the Radio mode and holding the Play button. Once it’s done, it will disappear the hum of detuning and you can scroll through the radio stations, using the arrow keys for changing tracks.
