Testing：
The mount holder is made from a combination of aluminium, plastic and silicone rubber, whose clamping system consists of a strong 1 inch thick thread that extends 3.5 inches from the base. The upper clamp moves freely up the threaded shaft and is held square to the bottom clamp with flats on it’s clearance hole. As the threaded sleeve is tightened above, the two clamps come together and grip the surface with soft rubber pads. This clamping system allows for an impressive amount of adjustment and an extremely effective and secure grip.
The flexible mount holder is made in two sections. The bottom portion, which extends most of the way up the neck measures 12mm in diameter and consists of a solid aluminium core which is coated in a black silicone rubber. The upper neck section is slightly thinner and measures around 10mm in diameter. As GadgetViper assumes that it helps make the neck more flexible for adjustment, while maximising the strength of the bottom section.
The adjustable head has a really clever design. It features two extendible clasps that are held under constant tension. Each clasp has a rubber wedge that makes contact with the tablet and prevents any chance of it slipping out.
It’s so well designed, it will easily retain the weight of an older iPad, even when inverted.
The head connects to the flexible gooseneck design tube with a 360° rotational sleeve. This allows you to rotate the tablet to landscape or portrait views without any need to adjust the arm.The level of adjustment on the head will not only allow you to use this holder to retain just about every type of tablet on the
market, it’s also suitable for phones too. There are slots on both sides of the clasps to allow you to position the device to avoid pressure on buttons, or to allow a cable connection for charging.

How’s GadgetViper Verdict?
Before getting my hands on this tablet holder I have to admit I was a little sceptical as to how rigid the gooseneck would actually be, especially with my older and heavier iPad. I’m happy to report that it performed exceptionally well. I cannot fault the design, build quality or functionality of this tablet holder.
